My Personal Background

There is not much here to say.  I married my wife Karen while I was stationed aboard the USS Bennington during the Viet Nam war.  We lived for a time in Long Beach CA. and Bremerton WA. before I shipped out on the USS Kitty Hawk, for my last West Pac cruise.

We have one daughter, Denyse, who lives in Iowa with her husband Perry and their daughter Kelsey, age 13.

Karen and I have lived and worked in southeastern Illinois for about 18 years.  I am recently retired and Karen is active in the quilting hobby, and in addition to her day job in higher education, we operate an antique business.  We also occasionally do computer consulting for businesses in the area.
